Decapitated – Post Organic

dont have to write huh? lyrics: Sodium sunrise burns my eyes Electric charged reanimation I must recombine my (scattered) mind After techno-crucifixion Growling engines Transmitting praise Audio sensors detecting wavs The factory Reanimates me As a post organic form of life Vacuum breath on the surface Of my positron skin Covered by the barbed wire And life-proof membrane I’m the factory’s newest product Son of serialized destruction Perfect body – perfect soul Reborn in a post organic form of life Oxygen – no longer needed Brain – lobotomized Heart – pumping cyanide Arms – mechanized Eyes – throwing x-rays Tissues – mummified Erased – my memory All the rest is vaporized Baptized in a lake of acid tears I am resurrected in a toxic soul Hardware body – software soul In post organic form Appeared I’ve seen the android god preaching Radiating his nuclear love I’ve seen the world around Bewitched in a pill of mescaline.

Police Begin “Guns Drawn” Raids on Organic Food Stores in California

For additional commentary from George on RT TV: www.youtube.com In a shocking development, police begin “guns drawn” raids on organic food stores in California. George speaks with an owner of Rawsome, a Venice beach organic food store caught up in one of the raids. The coverage of this story by the Los Angeles Times caused a firestorm online with many groups concerned about abuse of police powers and unnecessary safety regulations concerning the consumption of organic and raw foods. www.infowars.com Some people balk at restrictions on selling unprocessed milk and other foods. ‘How can we not have the freedom to choose what we eat?’ one says. Regulators say the rules exist for safety and fairness. With no warning one weekday morning, investigators entered an organic grocery with a search warrant and ordered the hemp-clad workers to put down their buckets of mashed coconut cream and to step away from the nuts. Then, guns drawn, four officers fanned out across Rawesome Foods in Venice. Skirting past the arugula and peering under crates of zucchini, they found the raid’s target inside a walk-in refrigerator: unmarked jugs of raw milk. “I still can’t believe they took our yogurt,” said Rawesome volunteer Sea J. Jones, a few days after the raid. “There’s a medical marijuana shop a couple miles away, and they’re raiding us because we’re selling raw dairy products?” www.latimes.com Such battles have had a chilling effect on some retailers. Organic Farming: Can It Feed Us (Part 1)

VVH-TV News Special Organic Farming: Can It Feed Us? Part 1 Karl Grossman Chief Investigative Reporter examines Organic Farming on Eastern Long Island. What is organic farming? Organic farming can be defined as an approach to agriculture where the aim is to create integrated, humane, environmentally and economically sustainable agricultural production systems. Maximum reliance is placed on locally or farm-derived renewable resources and the management of self-regulating ecological and biological processes and interactions in order to provide acceptable levels of crop, livestock and human nutrition, protection from pests and diseases, and an appropriate return to the human and other resources employed. Reliance on external inputs, whether chemical or organic, is reduced as far as possible. In many European countries, organic agriculture is known as ecological agriculture, reflecting this reliance on ecosystem management rather than external inputs. The objective of sustainability lies at the heart of organic farming and is one of the major factors determining the acceptability or otherwise of specific production practices. The term ‘sustainable’ is used in its widest sense, to encompass not just conservation of non-renewable resources (soil, energy, minerals) but also issues of environmental, economic and social sustainability. The term ‘organic’ is best thought of as referring to the concept of the farm as an organism, in which all the component parts – the soil minerals
